Annette Pierce, age 55 of Genola, died peacefully, Friday, May 25, 2012 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 18, 1956, in Provo to Arlo E. and Elva Pierce. She married Corey Marrott, June 14, 1974. They were later divorced but remained dear friends. She later met her life partner, Brian Hoagland, and they spent many happy years and adventures together.

Annette graduated from Orem High School and received an associates degree from UVCC. She was successful in many business endeavors, including a licensed Real Estate Agent. At the time of her death, she was employed by the United States Postal Service, owned and operated South County Lanes and Lazy Dog Farms.

She loved horses, hunting and anything outdoors. An incredibly talented person, knitting and crocheting numerous afghans and sweaters - there was truly nothing she couldn't do or fix. Her greatest accomplishment in life was that of being a mother and grandmother.

(Stacey) Pierce, Kathy Pierce Beck, Elden (Joyce) Pierce, Cindy (Kent) Childs. Joseph (Deborah) Marrott, Tracy Marrott, Natalie Grant, Jody Pierce; 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandson; many nieces, nephews, family and "adopted" family. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Johnny Hoagland.
