“Brig” Bowers
“Brig” Ellis Deloy Bowers, 70, died April 25, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 17, 1935 in Nephi, Utah to Stewart and Ruth Davis Bowers. He married Marilyn Rae Steele January 28, 1955 in Santaquin.
Brig retired from UDOT. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and his morning coffee with his friends. He was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Debbie (Hank) Gubler, Tina (Steve) Lloyd, Dean (Marcy) Bowers, Alaine (Bob) Arms; 11 grandchildren, 3 and 3/4 great grandchildren; and a brother, John Bowers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the Old Santaquin Stake Center, 90 South 200 East. Friends may call at Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Santaquin Cemetery.
