Bucky Wyatt Burnett
On December 18, 2023 Bucky passed away and went on to a better place with the Lord. He was greeted by his grandparents Toby and Jennie Burnett and Larry and Georgia Ewell. He also was able to greet multiple aunts and uncles who loved him. He was preceded in death by his nephew Ryland William Burnett.
Bucky was born November 15, 1981 in Nephi, Utah to William and Rada Burnett of Santaquin, Utah. He left behind a long time love Kyra Garcia, sisters Angela Cartwright and Billie Joe (Jeff) Durand, and a brother Justin (Shanae) Burnett.
He grew up in Santaquin, Utah. He enjoyed all sports and was an excellent athlete. He played youth baseball, soccer, and wrestling. He lettered in football at Payson High School. He enjoyed the outdoors and being around the dogs he had in his life. He was in the National Guard where he learned to run heavy equipment.
He was well loved by all of his relatives and was friendly to everyone, always trying to make everyone laugh.
There will be a celebration of his life Monday, January 15, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Brown Family Mortuary in Santaquin, where everyone is welcome to come and pay their respects to his family.
