Calleen Mary Lake Gates, 73, passed away Sunday, October 15th in Provo. She was born August 5, 1933 in Heber, Utah to Patrick H. and Eliza Ann Bowman Lake. She married Thomas J (TJ) Gates Oct. 22, 1953. He died August 22, 2003.
Callen was a member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and loved to sew and video tape. At the time of her death she was employed at the Payson Wal-Mart as a greeter.
She is survived by her loving children, Richard (Analiza) Gates, Tooele; Barbara (Doyle) Price, Woodlawn, TN; Mary (Greg) White, Pleasant Grove; 7 grandchildren, Patricia, Chad, Rebecca (Josh), Tiffany, Thomas, Richieann and Kyle on the way; 3 great grandchildren, Ryan, Taylor and Lily; 2 sisters, Gloria (Guy) Larsen, Lyman, Wyoming, Flora (Jerry) Yates, Ft. Bridger, Wyoming, and a brother, Frank (Ruby) Lake, Green River, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, TJ, and a granddaughter, Amber.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 19th at 1:00 p.m. in the Old Santaquin Stake Center, 90 South 200 East. Friends may call at Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday at the church one hour prior to services.
Interment, Santaquin Cemetery.
