Carrie Beth Harris Hofer peacefully passed away on December 13, 2021, in Payson Utah, surrounded by her loving family.
Carrie was born June 6,1947 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Austin and Joyce Harris and has two brothers and one sister. Carrie married Jay Hofer, in 1967 and together they raised Kyle and Cody.
Carrie was known for her exceptional cooking skills, her beautiful yard, and flowers! When visiting Carrie’s house, you were always greeted by beautiful hand planted flower pots, a lush green yard, cherished wind chimes & bird feeders, and aromatic delicious food! Carrie always had time and the talent to whip up some gourmet meals for all to enjoy! She loved taking care of her family and friends, and spent the majority of her time gardening in her yard, in front of the stove, and with her cherished family! She was happiest when surrounded by her grandkids and great grandkids!
Carrie is survived by her two brothers Clayton Harris and John Harris of Oregon; two sons Kyle (Sherrie) Hofer and Cody (Heather) Hofer; seven grandchildren, Courtney (Dallas) Loader, Carrie (Brandon) Clement, Korban (Michelle) Marshall, Amira (Erik) Bronson, Garrett Hofer, Kennedy Hofer, Everly Hofer; seven great grandchildren, Kylee, Blaize, Neveah, Rory, Cherokee, Carley, and Ashton. She is preceded in death by her parents Austin and Joyce, and sister Judy York.
Services will be Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Goshen LDS church. A viewing will be held that morning from 9:30-10:45. Interment, Goshen Cemetery.
