Connie Rae Jacobson Openshaw, 71, passed away November 1, 2014 at her home in Santaquin. She was born November 25, 1942 in Spring Lake, Utah to CW and Vera Jensen Jacobson. She married LaMar B Openshaw 55 years ago on July 3, 1959. Together they raised their four children in Santaquin.
Connie enjoyed many years doing hair, working as the first door greeter at Kmart, and also her time working at Mt. Country where she retired in 2001. She had a great love for people. She loved helping others, traveling, yard work, reading, crocheting and the time she spent working in the temple. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, LaMar; children, Paula (Michael) Price, of Provo, Tony (Cindy) Openshaw, of Mona; Marla Openshaw, Emery (Gayle) Openshaw, both of Santaquin; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a great granddaughter, Shaylee Pust, and a brother, Don Jacobson.
Services will be held Wednesday, November 5th at 11:00 am at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 am prior to services. Burial, Santaquin Cemetery.
