Darwin Lynn Crook, 92, passed away quietly at his Orem home on July 22, 2010 after a short illness. Lynn was born in Payson, Utah on February 15, 1918. Lynn served as the Mayor of Santaquin for 16 years and as a Nebo School Board member. He also served as an LDS Bishop, and as a counselor in a Stake Presidency.

He was married to Josephine Cannon from February 15, 1940 until her death on March 7, 1996 and to Elaine Osborn Patten from May 22, 1997 until her death on December 27, 2005. Survived by; Kenneth Lynn (Mary Jo) Crook, Alpine, Utah, Bradley Gilbert (Lori) Crook, Nephi, Utah, Karen Dix (Arthur Ernest-deceased), Santaquin, Utah, Edmund Lowell (Karene) Dix, Provo, Utah.

Funeral services will be held at the Santaquin Utah North Stake Center, 545 North 200 East on Monday, July 26th at 11:00 a.m. Family will greet friends from 9-10:45 prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers please donate to the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund. Interment, Santaquin City Cemetery.
