Ethel Nielson

Ethel Mae Nielson, age 98, passed from this life while in the comfort of her home surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

She was born January 17, 1920 in Silver City, Utah to William Marion and LoAlda Lemon Johnson. She was married to Albert Senius Nielson, II and had two sons, Albert and William. She graduated from Tintic High School where she played the french horn in the marching band. Family was important to her, she loved to spend time with them whether they came to her house or she went to see them. She loved the outdoors, especially hunting deer, looking for arrowheads and different kinds of rocks.

Ethel is survived by her son William Nielson, 7 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 52 great great grandchildren as well as spouses. She was preceded in death by a son, Albert Senius Nielson, III, daughter-in-law, Cheri Adele Ward Nielson, grandson Garth Hugh Nielson, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be Saturday October 27th at 12:00 pm at the Genola LDS Church, 50 North Main. Viewings will be Friday 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin and Saturday at the church from 10:30 to 11:45 am. Interment, Spanish Fork Cemetery.
