Jalynn Steele, age 58 of Santaquin, passed away October 4, 2014. He was born February 15, 1956 in Nephi to Arlyn and Janice Elaine Garrett Steele.
Jalynn worked as a general contractor and was a skilled finish carpenter. He has left his mark in many homes in the area. He enjoyed sports and hunting and especially loved cheering for the Yankees.
He is survived by his mother, Janice, of Santaquin; a sister, Jana (Marty) Vincent of Payson, and brothers, Rick (Trudy) Steele, Kelly (Mercell) Steele, both of Santaquin; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 9th at 1:00 pm at the Santaquin North Stake Center, 545 North 200 East, where friends may call from 12:00 to 12:45 pm prior to services. Burial, Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Brown Family Mortuary, Santaquin.
