Jonathan Dayton Clark

Our dear loving husband, father and friend passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2024, at age 57 due to complications from surgery, with his wife and son at his side. He was born on March 13, 1967, to Richard and Mary Clark in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married his wife, Kristie, in Vermont and had one son together named Benjamin. Jonathan graduated from Roland Hall Saint Marks, and proceeded to get his degree in history at the University of Utah.

Jonathan was well known as a friend and fellow musician in the SLC music scene. He was renowned for his musicianship on the drums and his passion for music. Jonathan was a creative person and held a love for the arts, whether it was creating his own or appreciating others. As a person, he put his family first and worked hard every day for his wife and his son. However, he also cared deeply about others and always put others first before himself, going out of his way to meet people and talk to others, as well as trying to get people to laugh and smile. He will always be loved by his family and friends, and his loving personality will always be held in our memory.

A celebration of Jonathan's life will be held January 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the All Saints Episcopal Church, 1710 Foothill Dr. Salt Lake City.
