Larry Jay Beck passed away Tuesday, November 19th, 2013 at his home in Goshen, Utah with his loving wife by his side.  Larry was born June 23, 1939 to Cyril Eugene Beck and Grace Freckleton Beck.   He was raised in Eureka and Elberta, Utah and graduated from Payson High School.

Larry married Anna Clair Horton on December 14th, 1962.  They were blessed with 4 children and lived in Goshen most of their 51 years together.  Larry worked most of his life as an Accountant and Controller for the Tintic Mines in Eureka, Utah.  He also spent time working for Dugway Proving Grounds and the last years of his life were spent in service of his beloved community of Goshen as the Town Clerk, working right up until the day of his passing.

Larry was a selfless man who always thought of others first.   He loved to spend time with his family doing many different activities, but his time spent watching, playing and participating in baseball was where he found his greatest joy.  He loved his Boston Red Sox, but more importantly he loved to watch his boys and his grandchildren play whenever possible.  He will leave a lasting legacy of strength, hard work, perseverance, compassion and love for those left behind to follow.

He is survived by his wife, Anna and his 4 children; Blake (Angie), Stephanie (Jeff), Jay (Mindi), Jerry (Aimee).  He was blessed to have 14 beautiful grandchildren in whom he loved and adored.  He also is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Thompson and Kaye Beck of California.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m at the LDS chapel in Goshen, Utah.  A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the same location.  Burial will be in the Goshen City Cemetery.

We love you TGO and will forever be grateful for your amazing example of the person we all want to become!  May you rest in Peace.
