Martin Peterson

d. February 26, 2016

Our beloved husband, father, son, grandpa (Papa), brother and friend passed away February 26, 2016 surrounded by loved ones after a short but courageous battle with cancer.  He was born April 23,1953 to Jay O. and Norma Lee Peterson in Payson, Utah. He was raised in Santaquin, Utah and resided there for 59 years and later moved to Ivins, Utah.  He married the love of his life Jacquee and they have 3 children Nichole, Whitney and Marty.

From a young age he was taught the value of hard work. Martin loved people and his greatest gift was his compassion for others and his sense of humor. He treasured the friendships he had in his life - old and new. Everything he did was nothing less than perfect. He loved to BBQ, spend time with his family, especially his grandkids, riding ATVs and traveling

Martin is survived by his wife, three children, his father Jay O (Phyllis) Peterson, father & mother-in-law, Larry and Georgia Ewell; siblings Janet Kelsey, Marianne (Max) Hohrein, John (Karen) Peterson; and five grandchildren, Brilee, Kaylee, Easton, Paisley & Gentry. He was preceded in death by his mother Norma Lee Peterson.

We will always carry your memory in our hearts farewell my friend: Marty, Tune, Big Marty, The big guy, Mart Nut

Special thanks to Journey of Hope, our earthly angels for their tender and compassionate care, Southern Utah Veterans Home-Ivins and to all our family and friends that supported us during this difficult time.
