Max Glen Dixon, 81, passed away December 8, 2012 at his home in Spanish Fork. He was born September 6, 1931 Provo to Glen and Elva Schemensky Dixon. He married Ina Mae Wolsey September 5, 1953 and they were later sealed in the Provo Temple. They shared 59 years together.
Max worked as a welder. After retiring from Geneva Steel he ran his own business. He was a hard worker and many times worked 2 or 3 jobs at a time to provide for his family. He was humble and a man of great integrity. He was a man of his word. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was a state champion trap shooter.
His survivors include his wife, Ina; children, Terri Dixon, Cindi Parmley (Tom), Lori Vuksinick (Tom), Bret Dixon (Patty), Stacy Dixon; 12 grandchildren and 10 grea grandchildren; siblings, Jean Dixon Elliott, Bill Dixon (Karen), Richard Dixon (Sherry). He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shirley Davis.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 12th at 11:00 am at the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, 4800 North 650 East, Provo under the direction of Brown Family Mortuary, Santaquin.
Thanks to the special neighbors and family that have taken such good care of Max and Ina over the years.
