Michael Austin McEwan

Michael Austin McEwan, 53, of Provo, Utah, passed away on March 1, 2024, in Provo. Michael was born on February 5, 1971, in Provo, Utah. He was a beloved father to Kelly Austin McEwan, Kelsey Lynne McEwan, Trevor Mack McEwan, and Lexus Eve McEwan. Michael adored his grandchildren, Olivia, Liam, Dessie, Harper, and Jack.

In his career, Michael worked as a Police Officer at the Utah Department of Corrections, Crane Operator at Olsen Crane Company & Mountain Crane, and Truck Driver at Mountain Pacific Transport. Outside of work, Michael enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, and camping. He also had a passion for lifting weights and cooking. His fun-loving and sarcastic personality made him a dependable friend and a joy to be around. He was known for taking on new hobbies and projects, always eager to create things for his loved ones.

Michael's Graveside service will be Friday March 8th at 12:00 pm at the Santaquin City Cemetery, 100 East 300 South, Santaquin, Utah.

He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and his close friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Mack McEwan, his spouse, Lesley McEwan, and Brother Bill McEwan. 

Michael will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
