Richard "Dick" Steele

Richard (Dick) Scott Steele, 78, died peacefully at home with his family by his side on August 31, 2016. He was born November 26, 1937 in Payson, Utah to William Scott and Helen Golden Steele. He attended Payson High School. He married Jeannetta Hazel October 10, 1958.

He was an avid outdoors man that loved trapping, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Utah Thoroughbred Association, as well as, the Utah Trappers Association.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother Golden, sisters Maxine and Joyce and a son Donald.

Survived by wife, Jeannetta, son, Gary (Shelly) Steele, grandchildren, Mandi (Ben) Fuell, Gunner (Chelsea), Klay (Crysta), Krista (Kasey) LLoyd, Ian (Ashley) Nielsen, Bowdy and Rowdy, all of Goshen, 11 great-grandson and 4 great-granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 6th at 12:00 pm at the Goshen LDS Church, 70 South Center.  Friends may call at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Tuesday at the church from 10:30 to 11:45 am prior to services.  Burial, Goshen Cemetery.
