Robert “Bob” Michael Neil, 60, of Santaquin, Utah, passed away on November 30, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Bob was born on June 23, 1965, in Killeen, Texas to Virginia Fowles and Michael Neil.
Bob lived his life by being an example to all who had the honor of knowing him. He had the biggest heart and had an unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ and His Atonement. Bob worked as a truck driver and utility locator after serving for four years in the Army and four years as a Seabee in the Navy. Bob enjoyed hunting, spending time outdoors, creating art, and crafting. He cherished every minute with his friends, family, dogs, and service buddies.
Bob is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nanette Neil, and three sons: Stefan Vincent, Preston Neil, and Ty Neil, along with 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by his eight siblings: Gina Shoell, Nathan Fowles, Amy Penrod, Steven Neil, Stacy Haycock, Shawnna Peterson, Sharee Neil, and Sterling Neil. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Their presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing them.
On December 8, 2025 at 9:30 am, there will be a viewing with a service to follow at 11 am. Both will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 545 N 200 E Santaquin, Utah. He will be laid to rest at the Santaquin Cemetery with military honors following the service.
His family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to their ward, friends, and neighbors for their love and support during this time.
Bob’s legacy of loyalty and service lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
