Ron was very dedicated to Elkdom, his community and his family.
He always took time for his kids and grandkids as they grew up. He attended a variety of activities from ball games, to races, dance recitals and anything else that the kids were involved in. He was their greatest cheerleader and he was always a great “voice of reason.” Even when they didn’t want to hear what he had to say, he was always right.
Ron was not only a family man, but served his community in a variety of positions. He had been a member of the Tintic School Board for 36 years, served on the State High School Activities Association board, served on the city council, was a firefighter, and a lifetime member of the Firebirds. Members of the Eureka community knew they could count on Ron for support and help in whatever project they are undertaking. He was a hard worker and committed to his fellow human beings.
