Beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Ruby Hudson Cook, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2008, after a brief illness. She was born September 13, 1924, in Santaquin, Utah to William Hudson and Prudence Harriet Coombs. She married Lyman Deloy Cook on January 10, 1945. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After 15 years at the Salt Lake Shirt Shop, she quit work to stay at home with Deloy. They spent 25 years together in retirement. She is survived by her two children, son, Gyle Hudson (Claudia) Cook; daughter, Susan Annette (Robert) Callaway; granddaughters, April Dee Callaway and Lindsey Cook; grandsons, Brandon Gyle Cook and Michael Jay Cook, all of Salt Lake; brothers Rodney and Jack Hudson, sisters Sadie Jarvis and Mary Roberts, all of Santaquin; brother-in-law, Leonard Kirk of Tooele. Friends may call Thursday from 11 to 12 noon at Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin. Interment, Goshen Cemetery. The family requests no flowers. Special thanks to Millcreek Home Care and St. Mark's Hospital.
