Ruth Crowley Jepson

Venitta Ruth Crowley Jepson died November 28, 2025, at the age of 97. She loved life and loved her family. She was thrilled to have 8 children, 33 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and great, great children as her posterity.

Ruth was born on September 11, 1928, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Victor Leon and Venitta Eliza Minson Crowley. She had one sister and three brothers. Ruth was grateful to have had a happy childhood, and she was grateful that she was taught the gospel in her home. She lived her formative years in Ontario, California, but lived most of her adult life in Utah.

Ruth was thankful for the privilege of living in this country and the freedoms it provided. Her heart was truly red, white, and blue.

Ruth served in various callings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including 17 years in the scouting program. She also served on several committees for various chambers of commerce and was a member of the Rotary Club. Later in her life, she worked in the Mount Timpanogos Utah temple, which brought her much joy.

Her greatest ambition was to have a large family. She was blessed with two sets of twin sons, three daughters, and another son: Ariel Lyle Jepson, Arron Frost Jepson, Winston Scott Jepson, Wendell Dee Jepson, Glenna Ruth Jepson Porter, Rosanne Jepson Haverstock, Vonda Kay Jepson Bassett, Rex Ellis Jepson.

Real Estate was Ruth’s chosen profession, which served her well. After being an agent for 10 years, she became a broker and sole owner of her business for another 20 years.

Funeral Services will be held on December 13, 2025, at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Utah with the viewing at 11:00 a.m. and the funeral at 12:00 p.m. Graveside services will take place following the funeral at the Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East Payson, Utah.
