Sherri Christiansen

Sherri Brown Christiansen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on September 6, 2026, at home on her beloved ranch. Born on May 9, 1952, Sherri lived a life of deep faith, unwavering love, and quiet strength that touched everyone around her.

Sherri patterned her life after her favorite scripture (Proverbs 3:5,6): "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." - Sherri trusted God completely, and He directed her path with grace, wisdom, and abundant blessings.

Her world revolved around the things she cherished most; her precious family, her steadfast faith, dear friends, and the ranch that was her joyful home. On the ranch, she created a life filled with hard work, simple pleasure, laughter, horses, and the beauty of God's creations. Her warm smile, generous spirit, and loving presence made everyone feel welcome and valued.

Sherri is survived by her husband and eternal companion, Terry Christiansen; her children: Clint Christiansen (Jillian), Candice Noss (Cory), Clay Christiansen (Lacey), and Crystal Nielsen (Taylor); along with her 16 amazing grandchildren and extended family. Her family was her greatest treasure, and the love she poured into them will continue to bloom in their lives for generations.

A woman of remarkable service, Sherri gave generously of her time and talents to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as stake and ward Relief Society President, Young Women's President, Primary President, and temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple. Through these callings and in her everyday life, she lifted others, strengthened testimonies, and exemplified Christ-like love.
