Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Shirley Mae Dixon Davis, peacefully returned to our Father in Heaven and into her husband's loving arms November 8, 2012 with her family gathered around her. She was born September 12, 1935 in Provo, Utah to Glen and Elva Schemensky Dixon.

Shirley lived a life of service and compassion. She was an example to all who knew her. Mother had many gifts and talents. Everything she touched turned into a thing of beauty. Mother was a very active woman. She loved gardening, quilting, drawing and painting and ultimately loved to help anyone in need. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints in which she served in many callings. She loved going visiting teaching. It was something she looked forward to each month.

She married Keith Davis July 17, 1959 they were later sealed in the Logan temple. They enjoyed 47 years of life together before Keith passed away in 2006. They have 5 children, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed.

She survived by her five children and her sweet dog Oreo, Micki (Larry) Johnson, Becki Ledward, Glen (Karolyn) Davis, Amy Kay, Jill (Brett) Newell. Her siblings include Max (Ina) Dixon , Jean Dixon Elliott, Billy (Karen) Dixon , Richard (Sherri) Dixon. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Davis and a great grandson Tyler Johnson.

Services will be held on Wednesday November 14th at 11:00 am at the West Mountain 3rd Ward, 902 West 400 North, Payson, with a viewing prior from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork Cemetery. Her family wishes to thank UVRMC, ICU unit for their loving care of our mother.
