Shirley Skinner

November 6, 1925 — September 21, 2011

Shirley Raye VanAusdal Senn Skinner born November 6, 1925 in Spanish Fork, Utah passed away peacefully surrounded by her family September 21, 2011. Our dad, Elmer Ray Skinner, the love her life, came and took her by the hand and together with Corky, her dog, they went to be reunited in the long overdue reunion with her parents, daughter, first husband, David, and brothers and sister whom were waiting with open arms.

Her greatest joy was her family, family dinners together where she loved to make everyone's favorite foods, and the camping trips we all loved so much. She was always there anytime whether we needed a hug or just to let us know everything will be okay. We were all blessed to have her in our lives.

She is survived by daughters, Carol Jean Emery and Peggy Raye Senn Peterson Lance, both of Spanish Fork, Utah and son David Rex Senn of Provo, Utah; 2 brothers, John B. VanAusdal of Ivins, Utah, and William L VanAusdal of Phoenix, Arizona; 2 sisters, Joan Pettro of Mesquite, Nevada, and Rhoda Ann Strasburg of Orem, Utah; 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents , Julius A and Othelia Bradford VanAusdal, a daughter, Sandra J. Senn Gold, her first husband, David A. Senn, and her second husband and soul mate, Elmer Ray Skinner, 3 brothers, Albert R. VanAusdal, Kenneth Dean VanAusdal, Julius Max VanAusdal and 3 sisters, Fanny Elizabeth Larsen, Rowena Sanderson, and Jean Kaze.
