Vicki Jane Brackett

Vicki Jane Brackett, age 73 of Genola, Utah passed away May 5, 2025. She was born April 15, 1952 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Kenneth Alan and Elizabeth Jane Burns. She married Wade Brackett October 3, 1970 in Flora Vista, New Mexico.

Vicki was a woman of deep compassion. She always saw the good in others and was a best friend to anyone that came across her path. She was a talented artist and she loved to throw parties. She never missed a chance to support her children and grandchildren in sports, school events or any activity they pursued.

Her generous spirit and love of life touched all who knew her. Vicki had a passion for collecting treasures, enjoyed shopping, traveling and found joy in the beauty of nature. She loved horseback riding with Wade in the mountains. As she got older, she enjoyed going on side-by-side rides in the mountains.

Vicki was proud and talented cook, often sharing her creations with loved ones and friends. Her kindness, warmth and infectious enthusiasm will be missed. She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy and unwavering support for her family. She was proud member of the Catawba Indian Nation.

Survivors include her husband, Wade; son Tyson (Julie) Brackett, daughter Tehra (Tyler) Nielson; her mother Jane Burns; 8 grandkids, 5 great grandkids; and a brother Scott Burns. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Burns.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Genola LDS Chapel, 50 No. Main Street. Family will greet friends at the church from 9:00 to 10:30 am prior to the services. Interment will be at the Genola Cemetery.
