Virginia Matyja

Virginia Justinich Matyja, 75 of Eureka, Utah passed away February 19, 2011. She was born February 1, 1936 in Bishop, California. Her parents, Jose and Catherine Mullaly Perez preceded her in death.
A beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and everyone's friend. Your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten. You are truly loved and will be forever missed. Mom, you will be in our hearts and souls forever.
She is survived by her children, John Matyja, James Matyja, Robert (Cari) Matyja, all of Ely, Nevada, Fred Matyja, Mary (Lewis) Gordon, Michael Matyja, all of California, Virginia Matyja of Maryland, Richard Matyja of Colorado; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Paul Justinich of Utah and a sister, Gloria Perez of California.
A special thanks to all of the staff and customers at Smith's Grocery Store where Virginia worked for many years.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 24th at 3:00 pm at the LDS Church in Eureka.
