William Joe Drage

William Joe Drage, age 74 of Santaquin, passed away June 18, 2026. He was born November 28, 1951 to James Don and Starla Rae Larsen Drage, the oldest of 4 siblings. They lived in Genola, Utah where Joe enjoyed helping on the homestead, tending to the garden and fruit trees that sustained their family household for many years.

Joe attended and graduated from Payson High School and later married the love of his life Carol Joye Downey in 1979. Together they had 2 children Jake and Jaden, to whom they devoted their love and lives. Joe and Joye shared 42 wonderful years together before she passed much too soon in 2021.

Joe did his best to carry on and kept busy every summer with his prize tomato garden and shared his bounty with many. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his children, extended family and friends, spending time with his grandkids and passing down his talents and knowledge to each of them.

Joe is survived by his children Jake (Nicole) Drage, Jaden (Nate) Bronson, and grandchildren Easton, Berkley, Lucas, Hudson, also his brother Daryl and sisters Calleen and Julie.

Funeral Service will be at Brown Family Mortuary, 66 S 300 E, Santaquin on Wednesday June 24, 2026 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm with a graveside service to follow at the Santaquin City Cemetery.
