Woodrow Rolle Seiersen II

Woodrow Rolle Seiersen II came into this world on July 29, 1940 to Carlo Woodrow and Muriel Estelle Coupe Seiersen in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York. His childhood was spent riding his bike, spending time with and helping his grandfather and grandmother and playing on the beach property that his grandparents owned. Woody, at age 84, passed away at home on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in the presence of his wife and children.

Woody attended the State University of New York and graduated from Utah State University with a BS in Business Education. He taught high school business classes in Utah and Maryland for 34 years. He retired in 1998. On August 4, 1999, he married Cynthia Fujimoto Batty in Randolph, UT. Two years after she retired in 2002, they moved to Pahoa, Hawaii where they lived for 12 years. They then moved to Santaquin, Utah where he resided until his passing.

Woody loved plants and animals of all kinds especially dogs. His best buddy was his dog Keiko. He loved planes and model trains. Finding the good deal was his passion. He loved perusing Amazon.com or the grocery ads, clipping digital coupons, finding the best prices for items, and then celebrating his victories.

Woody leaves behind his children from previous marriages: Beth (Dale) Gingrich, Charles Ecklof, Woodrow Rolle (Kim) Seiersen III, Melissa (Lars) Hill-Burdorf, Erik Seiersen, Nancy (Toney) Twitty, Priscilla (Adam) Goldman, George Seiersen, Jonny Seiersen, Bobbi (David) Driskill, Scott Seiersen. Stepchildren: Garth Batty, Shannon (Zach) Watson, Thayne (Julia) Batty. He had 25 grandchildren and 1 ½ great grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Shelly Merbitz, and stepchildren Kent and Marisa Batty.

He requested no funeral, but Thursday, May 29th there will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and an informal brunch/memorial following for family and close friends at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 591 Summit Ridge Parkway, Santaquin, Utah with burial following at the Randolph City Cemetery, Randolph Utah.

The family would like to thank Valeo Home Health and Hospice, especially nurse Jayden and CNA Carley, for their kindness and Woody's great care in his final days.
