Carol Davis

December 22, 1943 — January 1, 2022

Carol Jean Sanderson Davis passed away peacefully on January 1, 2022 at Central Valley Hospital in Nephi, Utah. Carol was born on December 22, 1943 to Oris and Wanda Sanderson.

Carol attended Eureka Elementary School and Tintic High School and graduated in 1962. She married her husband Glen O “Mouse” Davis on June 14, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Carol had many places she called home throughout the years such as her winters spent at Beaver Dam, her home in Tabiona, but settled in Eureka close to family and is where she spent most of her life. Most recently she had moved in with her granddaughter Tamara and her husband Ross and their family. She adored spending time with them all especially those perfect summer nights. She was an active member of the Tintic Elks Lodge #711 and attended many Elks events and was always sure to donate her special baked goods anytime she could. Carol was a woman of many talents such as sewing and cooking. You could often find her at the sewing machine making costumes for her grandchildren or teaching her children and grandchildren her trade of homemade pies and great homemade cooking. She loved visitors and being surrounded by the ones she loved the most. Carol also had her cat Lippie who was her best friend and to which she gave the world to.

Carol is survived by her daughters Sonja (Brian) Laird, JoAnn (Wade) Terry, and Roxy (Lathel) Barney; her grandchildren Tiffany, Tyler, Tod, Tamara, Trevor, Tawsha, and Taleigh; great-grandchildren Austin, Kirsten, Nick, Madalee, and Emma; her sister Joyce (James{deceased}) Tuckett and brother Larry Sanderson; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Glen O., and her parents Oris and Wanda Sanderson.

A celebration of life and graveside service will he held later in the spring.
