Reo Watts

September 12, 1981 — September 21, 2019

Reo Guy Watts, beloved son and father, died tragically and unexpectedly on September 21, 2019. He had just celebrated his 38th birthday.

Reo was born in Lovell Wyoming on September 12, 1981 to Guy Watts and Wendy Mecham Harmon. He attended schools in Santaquin and Payson. He was married to Brittany Stuart from 1996-2006. They had two beautiful children together, Jalon Guy and Brinnley McKena.

Reo was an exceptional athlete who excelled in everything he put his mind to. He won many buckles and trophies for riding steers in Little Buckaroo Rodeos. He enjoyed a variety of activities, including snowboarding, skiing, golf, hunting, fishing, and hiking. He loved the mountains and spent as much time as he could enjoying the great outdoors. Reo was a talented photographer and left behind a number of beautiful pictures of the Utah mountains and sunsets that made him so happy. He was a big fan of both the Chicago Bulls and the San Francisco 49ers. One of his greatest joys was watching his son, Jalon, sing the National Anthem at Utah Jazz games. Reo was a proud father and enjoyed supporting his children in their accomplishments.

Reo had a strong work ethic and was previously employed as a heavy equipment operator and an accomplished welder and pipe fitter. Most recently, he was employed at Blaze Master Fire Protection where he worked with friends and family members who appreciated his hard work and positive attitude. Reo was a good friend and a loyal family member. He had a deep love for his parents, his children, and his nieces and nephews. Reo was a happy and peaceful person who was a good friend to all. He loved fiercely and judged no one.

Reo is survived by his children, Jalon and Brinnley; parents, David and Wendy Harmon, and Wesley Guy Watts; grandparents, Lavina Throckmorton, Barbara Walker, and Boyd Wilson; siblings, Bret (Bonnie) Harmon, Christy Wilkey, and Abby (Cameron) Boyle; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Beth Harmon, and his grandfather, Ralph Mecham.
